You already help people with technology.
You fix grandma’s computer, the neighbour’s WiFi and a friend’s printer. Sometimes you have time, sometimes you don’t. As a technician at AI Tekniker you do the same thing — just for more people, on hours you choose, and paid.
What is an AI Tekniker technician?
An AI Tekniker technician helps individuals and businesses with everyday technology — computers, WiFi, printers, phones, smart devices — either at the customer’s home or remotely. The name refers to the platform the customer meets, not to you personally working with AI: the job is to explain and solve technical problems for someone who doesn’t want to do it themselves, professionally and at your own pace.
Who can become a technician?
We’re not looking for a specific education or a certain number of years. We’re looking for someone who is good at explaining without jargon, and who has patience.
If you’re studying
IT students who want real assignments alongside their studies, not just theory.
If you already work in IT
Technicians who want extra assignments in the evenings and on weekends, at your own pace.
If you have years of experience
You’ve worked with technology for decades. That experience is worth something — especially to our older customers.
If you already help others
You fix grandma’s computer, the neighbour’s WiFi and a friend’s printer. What you already do for free can become paid work.
How it works
Some steps exist today. Others we’re building right now — they’re marked so you can see the difference. We don’t promise anything that doesn’t exist.
- 1Available today
You get in touch
Email or call and briefly tell us who you are, what you can do and how much time you have. No CV required.
- 2Available today
We talk
A conversation about what you’re comfortable helping with — and what you’d rather leave to someone else. Both answers are good answers.
- 3In development
Introduction
You get taken through how we work: how a job runs, how we talk to customers, and what we expect on site.
- 4In development
Training material
Guides and routines for the services we actually perform — Windows, Microsoft 365, WiFi, printers, phones, security and backups.
- 5In development
Competence test
One test per service area, so both you and we know what you’re confident with. You choose which areas to test yourself on, and you can retake a test.
- 6In development
Approval per service area
A passed test is not the same as an approval. We review the result and decide per area. You don’t need to know everything to get started — you get approved for one area at a time, and can add more later.
- 7Available today
We set up your profile
Contact details, whether you do home visits, online or both, and what times you can work. The profile can’t be activated until all of that is filled in — the system doesn’t let a half-finished profile through.
- 8Available today
You decide your hours
You enter when you’re available, and change it whenever you want. If you’re busy one week, you mark that, and you won’t get any jobs that week.
- 9Available today
The jobs come in
When a customer books a time you’re free, the job is matched to you automatically. You see what it’s about before you head out.
- 10Available today
You do the job
At the customer’s home or remotely. Afterwards, what was done and what it cost is logged.

AI support during the job
The idea is that you’ll be able to ask about troubleshooting steps, find the right routine and get help explaining something tricky simply — while you’re at the customer’s.
What you get out of it
You control your time
You enter when you can work. No shifts you have to take, no schedule requirements.
Real assignments
Customers who actually need help, not practice tasks. Good to have on your record.
You’re not on your own
If you get stuck, there’s help available. No one expects you to know everything.
Online or at the customer’s home
You choose. If you only want to work remotely, that’s fine.
What we expect
A short list, and none of it is about technology.
- You show up at the agreed time, or get in touch well in advance.
- You explain without jargon, and don’t get irritated by questions.
- You say when something is outside what you can do. That’s a good answer, not a bad one.
- You treat the customer’s home and belongings with care.
Payment
We’ll agree on pay before your first job, so you know exactly what applies before you accept anything. We won’t set up a profile for you until you’re happy with the terms.
Get in touch and we’ll tell you where things stand right now.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to know everything about IT?
No. You get approved per service area, one at a time, and can add more over time. Saying "that’s outside what I can do" is a good answer, not a bad one.
How much do I get paid?
We’ll agree on pay before your first job, so you know exactly what applies before you accept. We won’t set up a profile for you until you’re happy with the terms.
Do I choose when I work?
Yes. You enter your available hours, and change them whenever you want. If you’re busy one week, you mark that, and you won’t get any jobs that week.
Can I only work online, never at a customer’s home?
Yes. You choose home visits, online, or both when your profile is set up.
What happens after I submit my application?
We’ll get in touch for a conversation about what you’re comfortable helping with. A structured introduction, training material and a competence test per area are being built right now — see "How it works" above for what already exists and what’s on the way.
